3 people injured in Toms River, NJ, crash

Three people were injured in a car collision that occurred in downtown Toms River recently. A Toyota driven by a 77-year-old woman collided with a Honda being driven by an 18-year old girl. The Honda was overturned as a result of the car accident, and the two drivers, in addition to a passenger in the Toyota, were hospitalized for minor injuries. The accident caused the road to be closed for several hours, and the local police department was conducting an investigation of the accident as of this writing.

In any car accident, there are usually serious consequences for all involved. In addition to any physical injuries incurred, there is also the stress, anxiety and grief of having been in a car accident or witnessing a loved one be involved in one. It is also expensive to be a victim of a car crash, because there are bills to be paid not only for repairs, but also expenses for lost wages and hospital bills.

Fortunately, there are remedies available for a victim of a car accident. Anyone injured by a car accident is entitled to recover monetary damages from the victim or their insurance company for lost wages, medical bills and for any injuries suffered. They are also entitled to compensation for any physical or mental pain and suffering incurred as a result of the accident.

The victim of a car accident is also entitled to recover damages from the defendant for any injuries resulting from their negligence or recklessness. This is done by pressing a lawsuit and obtaining a judgment against the defendant for the relevant claim. For any victim of a car accident, there are legal remedies available.
