Two-car crash on New Jersey highway shuts down lanes

On Behalf of | Feb 12, 2013 | Car Accidents

Recently, a collision between two cars on the Route 80 East in Parsippany, New Jersey, resulted in two lanes of the highway being shut down. It is unclear at this time how the car accident occurred. However, one motorist was rushed to the hospital with injuries, although it is unknown at this time how extensive the injuries are. The auto accident shut down two lanes for several hours before the road was cleared of the wreckage and normal traffic resumed.

Car accidents can occur at any time and any place, and can cause a great deal of financial misery for all involved. Medical bills must be paid for the injured, any incapacitated person does not have the ability to work and thus loses wages and there is also the issue of property damage to the automobile itself.

This particular accident illustrates the harm that can befall the victims of auto accidents, although there thankfully were no fatalities. It is unclear whether there was any negligence or recklessness involved, but the accident clearly had serious consequences for one of the parties. Injuries due to car accidents can be severe, and can lead to the death or disability of the victim.

Fortunately, anyone who is the victim or who has had a loved one or family member victimized by a car accident is entitled to an adequate compensation. They may recover damages to cover medical bills and lost wages, as well as compensation for the pain and suffering incurred and any disabilities incurred.
